PharmacyID use two types of Biometric:

• Facial Recognition. Facial Recognition compares an applicant’s photograph with photographs on Australian Government (State and Commonwealth) documents, such as Passport, Driver’s licence, Firearms Licence. For government clients, PharmacyID are able to match the photo of the applicant with the photo on the chip of the Passport. This is the Facial Verification Service (FVS)
• Liveness Detection. PharmacyID use a separate and independent provider for liveness detection. The software will activate the computers camera and the applicant will move in accordance with directions of the software, showing that the applicant is a live and real person.
